2019-05-04 00:12:30 | 2019/05/04 22:53:18 | Begun | Call | Interested | Interested | Conference Completed | iDigital Cohen Repair | (818) 635-4386 | Play | hello hello hi this is not correct how are you by yourself yeah so I'm on the phone right now with my boss his name is Rick is going to give you a brief overview of what the application does and that's near wax if you questions hi has has gone I hope so just to give you kind of an overview so we're we're we're designing an app and we are kind of targeting you know the computer repair industry and you know customers who need phone service or computer service so to summarize the you know basically what our app does is someone has a phone or computer issue the user apps the enter their specific you know needs the problem there you know any any other special needs their location and then we match them with a service provider a repair you know to see repair or iPhone repair company service provider and and match them up so basically you know you your company would have kind of a specific repairs that you do services you provide and these customers would have a very specific needs as far as repair those and then we kind of we kind of filter because I'm sure you get calls for things that you're that's not within the scope of your service right and yet still for all that out right and match you up kind of real time so for example you know we we we get a call we live transfer them to you as as long as all the criteria is match and in addition to generating those types of leads you know we have search contact information inclined permission so people that you work with previously you know we'll store it's and then you know what else you know Pacific notes for them kind of previous problems that they've had and you can send them in you know notifications reminders and basically have a real you know develop relationships you know with these with these clients and in addition we also do doing invoicing as well is that something you're interested in and sending out estimates as well and sending out the invoices and and also kind of charging customers through you know like a pay pay pal type interface as well and in mapping also Sir for their coming out to you we can give them turn turn by turn directions on how to get to you you know if you have like promotions we can send out promotional emails or or text messages or phone calls and help to kind of promote your your company so given given those features what what would you what interests you what what are your needs and what additionally might we add to you know make the app more useful so basically you you repair P. C. as in phones we would like yeah handle everything else for you you know that are that you can spend more time appearing yep hi my name how do you filter though you would I've been like which companies you advertise it's basically anybody who's interested in participating in the service but what it what if it matches up with somebody who's like some standard or like not authorized to work on devices and things like that right well we will we yeah we we have a rating system as well as you know if there is any industry specific certifications you know why that would be displayed as well yeah that's good I mean so like what like I I'm I don't know because I used to work at geek squad and I broke my after he sent through there so that would be like a good a good type of criteria for apple products to have at least right look at certified okay yeah definitely that's definitely something that within corporate and uhhuh and it is first your clientele your are you how are you doing as far as advertising do you are you kind of pursuing your customers basically are you pretty a pretty busy or I I'm you know as far as I'm pretty busy yet yep you I I use yelp advertising but they're like expensive as hell right and and also like a lot of word of mouth like a lot yelp also a lot of other apps like let go and like things like that where you can post on like for type thing okay okay now as far as like yelp you're paying per click right or are they yeah our experience with them is you you get a lot of call clicks in a lot of calls but a lot of connect right converting them into a sale or something a little different though yeah it's like like really really guard it yes is that the the fall with yelp is that it will it'll just kind of like throw you at L. 3 business that somebody who doesn't really it doesn't really apply for them so like they'll have like a break in or will contact you know like a toaster affaire right right yeah and that's something that we've got we're have heavily implementing and that's kind of pre qualifying people before we connect them so yeah with if they have a poster of a toaster repair the we're definitely not gonna matching up with you yeah right yeah so it's the the you the leads will come to you where they're kind of already we're of a price ranges are already a kind of a web services in time frames so ultimately they come to you with either yes or no you know yeah so free for you guys how would you how would you charge the businesses would you charge them I I know that you send out lied to the to the differences but would it be right based off the lead you send or the sales that you can or it right so that the make and that's another thing that works for me right now is it now hi moment was currently at the moment we we we have just based on the studies that we've done we had probably most likely to options and the 2 options would be for you to you know pay as you go as far as the leaves not you wake up today you know you have you know a few hours that are available you want to fill those those hours with new leads in those lease would be anywhere between one to $5 per lead then we also have the option of us actually confirming the job for you sending the actual client out to your location are you going to that location and we charge you a percentage maybe 5 to 10 percent for that actual job you know before trying to track is who would be willing to pay per lead and who would be willing to pay no for an actual job it's already you know you don't have to speak to the client apply just shows up to you you know the problem in advance you fix it you get paid we get paid you know what you know what would be better if you would you like to pay per Lee that way you can speak to the client and I just what the needs are on your own and actually you know schedule an appointment or is you know someone else handle that for you would would that be more easier for you and you know would you be willing to pay you know of course it's a little more money because you know the job you know has been confirmed for you a percentage so I mean right right so it I'm sorry for the for me I'd rather get they get paid I mean I'd rather pay for the service in terms of just like a percentage of total transaction because then I wouldn't be paying for unnecessary things like you know like if like like on yelp like you know how you pay per click and then like a lot of them just don't really pan out so right yeah I'd be yeah I I'd be scared that it would be like the same situation and right and then yeah I mean I at least in the beginning but like if the leaves are really good and I don't mind paying per lead so like maybe like a trial thing like were you do like a week or a month of like free leads the but you actually take a percentage from the transaction and then after that like you could you could charge per lead and charge percentage gonna transaction yeah I think that's a big concern with a lot of people we talked to is that is you know yelp generates a lot of leads but a lot of times they just say how much is it how much is how much of this okay thank you and and never heard yeah yeah right so bargaining is so a percentage of the service is definitely attracted to a lot of people so and then yeah and then also kind of exclusively it's right so some companies will you know you know send that leads to a bunch of different companies in the first person to contact or to you know to close it gets it where is everybody other people are paying for the lead but they weren't quick enough or convincing enough so they're they're not able to convert the sale so I and it's definitely something that we're now we're searching on had a had a price in my size the service our experts help you really are you currently paying for yelp paying for advertising the quick I I wish I were in you wish you weren't as I said yes yeah okay that's that's having the returns not that great no not great at all it ends up being something like $600 a month plus $600 a month we help yeah 12 and other any other marketing services or advertising that you're doing I mean like I said there is I like let go and offer up things like that were you can post service is there too which is like nothing nothing a month Rich right right I DO IT back from them are you getting any clientele gonna mom yeah I do I I get I get a decent amount from them I mean not as much as like let's say yelp but but I got him out but the returning a lot higher because you're not yeah I'm returning a lot higher also how would you guys combat like let's take people to the business and you know like but let's say the business owners want to let's say you know what don't pay on the up Amy and pass right I'll give you a preview yeah that's it's a difficult I I speak the direction we're heading is you know if we stay I wish ourselves as a very good service then you know I you as a user of the service you want to use it in the future so you're you would be less likely to do that type of thing it's really difficult to run into you can't really filter that out if someone wants to be in on the business that way that's up to them but they will no longer use our services anymore you know for one client I you know I just do you have something you really can't filter out you know yeah I mean you could you could do kind of like what PayPal does but like I say you order an item and the item is defective or whatever you like even if the seller doesn't want to take it doesn't want to give you your money back use you can still go to pay pal and get your money back so you can do that type of thing like a money back guarantee I through the seller could you actually make mmhm as far as client information how much generally how much general information do you need from a client before you actually service I mean it depends on the device usually like for I phones it just like a password or for computers that also like password sometimes I need like activation keys depending on what I'm doing but it's not like too much information also like you know just like regular thing but my cell phone number is named sometimes I tried to see if the I. cloud matches most of the time to see if there I 5 matches just in case you know I don't to be working on like a broken or stolen earning a stolen phone or so on computer or whatever right okay so you need like this always before you work on any phone you would definitely need that information that way you not like breaking any rules or anything like that then correct so this to make model number needed I I cloud info that's all you need you mean like before like I even get the device yeah before you get the device what I'm saying is that what one would you need for us to have for you in order to take on a client because you don't want someone that to give you a call or so but the shop and you don't even have you know that item available for them you know so yes I do I mean you know the model the like what what what I like to do is if you get the model you know everything with the caller I also like to get pictures of the device if possible because then it can cause a lot of people don't really know what's actually wrong with their devices specially if it's like physical damage and that's at the technician you can you can see a lot more than what the client can be so you don't have to like have them come back and forth in order and you he he's or whatever you know and you know what to expect you know if you need to you you know if you need to like not book something for the next couple hours because they're going to be working on this device or you know things like like guys willing based off of what you see in the pictures right now our neighbor was scheduling your clients are you do you are using any type of software and other type of all the applications to run your business not really it's mainly through I I just do you like appointment please do appointments not keeping track of who you're who's coming and who's not going no no I do I do I I have I have it in my in my quickbooks so it looks okay yes quickbooks because for your accounting yeah from my county and also you know like it's it's just keep track of everything a lot better also I print yes yeah in its mainly it's it's Manny out of just appointments and things like that is how I keep track of who's coming 2 and do you have a storefront both correct yeah okay and on average how many customers you think you're getting day we just on average daily arrive 1516 it's in the overall order custom built all converted by customers who paid like 95969599 it just because I do it based appointment and I don't do it just based off of like keep walking no it is not working with yeah because I don't really have time to do walk ins much I can I can I usually give like appointment the people who like you walk ins and stuff but it rarely do I ever walk in bone but now do you all plan on expanding anytime soon as far as like maybe hiring another technician I'm thinking of opening up another location some 57 okay now as far as if you're currently paying you said sometimes hours per month just advertise on the out if we were able to give you a platform one application that would bring you new business you know whenever you like you don't have to you know use it every day but you know it's accessible to you and then also you know you'll be able to you don't you don't have to you know organize your clients on that but you would have the option to do that how much do you think that would be worth to you as far as a monthly charge or you know yearly charge I mean honestly like I'm I'm already paying for yelp 600 and I mean I'd probably I'd probably be willing to pay the same amount well if not more if I end up making more money you know thanks in because then that way I could hire another person then you know and go on from there no awesome awesome okay and let's see here no I had a couple more questions Susan mostly it's about most of the clients right now are just I got a return call I answer word a mile I'm you are getting some type of clients to yelp but not very many you getting clients from offer but not very many and right now you probably wouldn't be able to scale even if you wanted to then correct since you you're the only person working independently I mean no I I can I can easily get more employees also apple certified and stuff like that from the people I used to work with you caught but yeah the the problem is just the you know the amount of people that come in isn't it isn't enough for I mean I've been thinking of maybe green another person in but it's just like maybe if I had like 5 or 6 more phone today then I would easily do it but at this point right now and now okay okay well it's just a little in the near future would definitely want to get further along in developing this app and hope we have a demo for you to try out even if it's just on you know a week we trial or maybe 3 or 4 days that way you can see those actual leads coming in then we could probably you know to pull something and you know move forward to having you as a client but as of right now I mean you pretty much answered all the questions that we need unless unless you have any other questions right I no I think you know yep yep got go head no I'll go I'll go ahead and have any do you have any other ideas on them or any other types of features that are apple would be useful for technician like yourself so sometimes when I'm not in my in my workshop or my my shop I do like out called I I go to people you know I go to like I need them in public and I 6 our phones you know here and there so you said that there is map there's a like a G. P. S. type of feature yes let is the GPS feature you guys said that takes you to the store front right what ready to be able to be reversed so for example you agree to meet up with the client at a certain location and and you would go to live this down there right yeah yeah I would actually be able to give them your ETA is well you know they can actually see you on the map you know and where you're at and how far you would be from them out is is is like over from for their yeah yeah I mean just for mobile her I mean because this 1 is going this is right now or who doesn't have a smartphone like my my son has a smartphone used 566 years old so yeah it does and other yeah yeah doesn't work on my like I even by case and it's still break so I can do almost met to break so you can buy a new one every 6 months pretty much yeah yeah but we also look pretty much done here I definitely want to make sure that we paid you for your time who should I make out your check to and where should we mail it to you should make it out to near on Colin L.
