The Requirements Phase is extremely important, as your job begins and ends with what your customer wants. You need to not just find out your customer's name and phone number, but so much more as well to provide them high quality service.

For all customers, get the following information:

Since more detailed personal and financial information is difficult to elicit from a client on first contact, you may need to ask them about this when you follow up with a phone call after sending emails with search results. You will learn about this in the next topic, "Search & Review Phase".
